The two faces of PRWeb

December 12th, 2006 by Joe

When I came on board with PRWeb, I really found out how complex the PRWeb platform was. So many tools and features and then having to see their effects from a search engine’s perspective. That’s a lot to immerse oneself in. But then I realized there was another face to PRWeb I hadn’t noticed.

PRWeb Direct is a service bureau within PRWeb. Doing business with PRWeb Direct means getting a phone call about your release. It means not having to deal with all the tools and features of the PRWeb platform because you are delegating that to a PRWeb editor. It also means having someone write your release or at least optimize it for the search engines. And there are separate services for all these things.

On the PRWeb self-service side, there are three service levels. Easy. But on the PRWeb Direct side, there are many bundles and then there are add-on services. Maybe you would like to include the Business Wire distribution channels along with PRWeb’s or maybe you would like us to do keyword research to find the keywords that will do you the most good and optimize your release accordingly.

Just as there are a lot of tools and features within the PRWeb platform, there are even more opportunities to make sure your release sets out on its best legs by using PRWeb Direct.

Thanks, Joe. Indeed, we think PRWeb Direct is a fabulous service, and the editors like to break out of the (sometimes tedious) job of formatting and copy editing other people’s press releases by writing a press release from scratch.

Want to see a sampling of press releases written, revised, edited and/or polished by PRWeb’s NewsCrafters team? Go to http://www.rsspad.com/NewsCrafters.htm and see “The Best of PRWeb’s NewsCrafters.”

This Web page, which is also available as an RSS feed at http://www.rsspad.com/NewsCrafters.xml, has press releases written from scratch and releases that are search-engine optimized and /or otherwise polished for maximum online visibility.

The PRWeb Direct NewsCrafters team includes Tom Pratt, Cari Lyle, Mike Karkabe-Olson, Karla Swanson, Nicole Albright, Terry Kaye, Gerald Craft and others working out of PRWeb’s Ferndale, Wash., HQ. There are even some PRWeb releases written by yours truly.

To order through PRWebDirect.com, you can go directly to: http://www.prwebdirect.com/catalog.php.
