I’m attending the Blog Business Summit this week (with Andrew) and just had a brief chat with the event’s editorial lead, Teresa Valdez Klein. I am accustomed to hearing people gush about the results they have gotten from using PRWeb but one of Teresa’s comments really took me off-guard. “Your products have been life-changing for me!”
Erm, really?! Wow! She went on to elaborate that we had enabled her to do so much more than she expected around promoting and building the Blog Business Summit event. She had more time since she was able to make use of her PR distribution and copies of their PRWeb produced podcasts to cover all her bases. She really couldn’t say enough about the PRWeb Podcrew (hello Aaron and Lacy!) and how fantastic her podcasts were when they came out of the PRWeb edit/production process.
PRWeb Podcasts are currently included in the PRWeb Advanced Online Visibility service level ($200) and are not simply someone reading the press release. Rather they are a high-quality recorded conference call with you (and/or your choice of participants) which can be a casual fireside chat about your announcement or a rigid pre-scripted Q&A or something in the middle. Afterwards, the PRWeb Podcrew (”They rock!” says Teresa) take out background noise, studders and stammers, “erms” and “ahs”, and that time you stopped mid-sentence realizing, “What, that’s not what I want to say.” They also place bumpers in front and behind the interview of professionally produced music to lead into the introduction and to handle the “fade to black” at the end. Did I mention this is all included in the $200 service level.
Yeah, it is pretty kewl. And we couldn’t be more happy to have made Teresa’s (and who knows how many others) life better.
Oh yeah… did I forget to mention that the guy sitting next to me is the manager of the PRWeb’s Podcasting team? Yeah… sorry Andrew. You rock too buddy.

[...] I had the opportunity to tell Andrew and Joe who are here at the Summit today, that PR Web has been life-changing for me. They were so happy to hear it that Joe posted about it. 2006 Seattle Conference | Tags: blog business summit, pr web | [...]
