When I got out of the last session at the WOMMA Summit today (a great use of time I might add), I fired up my RSS reader (a My Yahoo! Widget no less) and saw that Lee Odden, all around nice guy and SEO pundit, was pointing to a post about getting your website noticed he did for the Yahoo! Publisher Network blog.
If you didn’t know, I’m a big Yahoo! fan and have even gone so far as to blog about Yahoo! for Weblogs Inc. So seeing Lee contributing to a Yahoo! blog was just a way-kewl thing for me to see. It’s certainly another indicator of the value of Lee’s no-nonsense SEO advice.
So as I am excitedly reading this I am made happier to see (okay, I sort of expected to see this but you never know) Lee recommending PRWeb as a means to announce a new web site. He adds several good points about the other things to do when using PRWeb:
Also send links to the press release, along with a few story ideas, to your local newspaper and any industry publication contacts you have from following the suggestion above.

Hey Joe, thank you for the kind comments. Funny thing about mentioning PRWeb is that I got emails from quite a few people saying, “Why didn’t you link to MY service.”
